Paul Bancroft founded his company in 1975. Prior, he had been roofing track homes for local contractors in the San Fernando Valley in the early 1970’s. When he decided to start his own company he asked his mother for a $17 loan to purchase his first nail stripper. Between his mother’s loan and his dilapidated 1968 Dodge pickup, the businesses is now regarded as one of the most successful small business in the Southern California Region.

One roofer once named Paul “The God of Roofing”. He humbly declines the notoriety but takes pride in his work and always seeks perfection.

When not roofing, Paul can be found driving his antique Speedster along the Malibu coast and looks forward to teaching his new grandson Kai how to surf in Nicaragua.

Behind every great man is a greater woman. Kathy planned a surprise acceptance party for Paul when she found out he passed his state contractors license test in 1978.

Since then, Kathy has been a co-officer of the business and has also held a contractor’s license since the early 1990’s. Prior, she was a registered nurse and served at Tarzana Hospital, recieving her qualifications at Mt. St. Mary’s and Pierce College.

She continually strives to meet the needs of each and every client at Paul Bancroft Roofing Inc.. When not at the office she can be found spending her time with her three boys and spoiling her grandson Kai.

Since 2002, Paul Jr. has been working with his father and always strives to provide the best quality service to the Southern California Region. Prior, Paul Jr. spent several years traveling with relief organizations throughout Africa, Southeast Asia, South Pacific, Latin America and New Orleans where he was able to provide medical and monetary relief to those in need.

He also studied digital filmmaking and television at the Art Institute of California Los Angeles and graduated with Honors. Since then he has produced social marketing campaigns for studios such as Fox, Lionsgate, Relativity & Paramount.

He currently resides in the San Fernando Valley with his wife Nicola and his son Kai. In his free time, he seeks creative ways to capture life one frame at a time.

Since 2008 Devin has been developing his skillset in roofing & general construction. Like the rest of the Bancroft boys, he has been working on the roof at a young age during his summer breaks.

He has also honed his skill set by working with local framing companies throughout the Southern California region. He is currently studying for his contractors license and in his free time, enjoys off-roading his Baja Truck & snowboarding Salt Lake City Utah during Sundance.

Lupe has been working with Paul Bancroft Roofing Inc. since 2001. She takes pride in providing exceptional customer service to each and every client. Many of our clients see her as the ‘go to’ if there are any questions that they may have. Lupe graduated with a Bachelors of Science from CSUN and has worked in the administrative field for fortune 500 company Black & Decker and in sales with Fireman Fund.

She genuinely prides herself working with the team at Paul Bancroft Roofing Inc. and most certainly is a lifer. In fact, Lupe identifies the office theme song with Eagle’s HOTEL CALIFORNIA and suspects the office security dog ‘Hans’ swallowed the key years ago. Oh well…

Lupe enjoys spending time with her family creating arts and crafts.

Paul not only is an installer of all types of roofing applications, but has also built homes and commercial properties as a general contractor. He is also a certified inspector and an expert key witness to several law firms for construction default cases.

Darin is a recent graduate of California State University Channel Islands in Sociology and Environmental Science; prior, Darin would work summers on the roof with his brothers and his father Paul. Recently Darin became TEFL certified and returned from a 6-month tour teaching English throughout Latin America.

Darin takes pride in the company’s developing positive impact on the environment and oversees the health and safety of each and every installer. In his free time, Darin enjoys surfing the Malibu coast and spending time with family and his Rottweiler Hans.

Hans Bancroft has been working for Paul Bancroft Roofing Inc. since late 2008. He takes pride in protecting the assets of the company and greets each and every client with a firm handshake and a lick to the face. He volunteered as our mascot without question and if you wish to setup an appointment at our office, you need to BYOB…bring your own biscuit.
